In order to pay for his father’s medical bills, Gyun goes to Shanghai in search of opportunities. He arrives at the failing Chuanwu Kung Fu Gym and is encouraged to take part in the “Shanghai Fight Night” where victory will earn him a handsome return. But as he faces off against competitors steeped in different ancient traditions, Gyun must find a way to resurrect and represent Chinese martial arts.
