When Etta arrives in Miami, she is searching for her estranged relatives after surviving a violent tragedy that took the lives of her immediate family. Impulsive and filled with rage, Etta is on a quest for revenge that will not be complete until every responsible party is dead. But in Miami her single-mindedness is softened by meeting her cousin Stanley and a new friend, Lovely, both of whom try to protect Etta from herself.
