After surviving a criminal murder trial, Tim Heidecker decides to mount a campaign to become district attorney of San Bernardino County and take revenge on prosecutor Vincent Rosetti. Using every dirty trick in the book, Heidecker riles up the residents of the county with his outrageous claims and constant attack ads posted on social media. As the pressure rises, Heidecker finds himself falling into addiction to cope with the stress as his campaign becomes increasingly unwieldy and mismanaged.
