Mike and Claire are two struggling musicians from Milwaukee who decide to form a Neil Diamond tribute act. After their initial meeting, they agree to rehearse together between Mike’s responsibilities as a mechanic and Claire’s day job as a hairdresser. When they finally get down to it, sparks fly, and not only do they transform into ‘Thunder’ and ‘Lightning,’ they quickly fall in love and bring that energy into their live act.
