In 1890s North Wales, the flamboyant Henry Paget returns to his family estate to claim his identity as the Fifth Marquess. As he tries to establish himself in society, he makes waves and gets tongues wagging with his theatrical flair and eccentricities that both mesmerise and provoke the upper-class elite. As Henry makes a name for himself, so too must he contend with the cost of breaking societal norms, and the importance of remaining true to oneself.
