Rick O’Connell is a maverick treasure hunter who travels to Hamunaptra with a group in search of the City of the Dead. He is joined by Jonathan and Evelyn Carnahan, siblings who are interested in an archaeological dig that promises a great undiscovered treasure. While searching for it, they awaken an ancient, vengeful mummy known as Imhotep, who hunts them down while searching for his lost lover, Anck-Su-Namun.
